As the UK’s fastest EV charging network, corporate social responsibility is fundamental to Alfa Power and forms a vital part of our strategy. We are an organisation that is part of the community, and we like to give back because we care about the welfare of others.
Alfa Power strives to play an important role in society, and make sure that they nurture relationships with the local community and help those in difficult and less fortunate environments.
An essential part of the business model is to conduct the business in a way which is ethically responsible and in line with Alfa Power’s values.
We are proud to be a Yorkshire based business and were lucky enough to host a Morley and Outwood Business Association (MOBA) event in September last year.
The event was attended by both Andrea Jenkyns MP for Morley and Outwood, and Jake Berry MP Minister of Northern Powerhouse and Local Growth
Local businesses and senior political figures were brought together at the event to discuss how technology is going to revolutionise many sectors in the UK. A demonstration of EV charging was also provided in order to showcase how well the technology works.
Alfa Power also sponsors Leeds based New Rover Cricket Club.
New Rover Cricket Club is renowned for nurturing talent from young people, via its junior section. It currently runs teams for children under the age of nine, eleven, thirteen and fifteen.
Cricket teams from Leeds Beckett University and the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation train at New Rover Cricket Club.
Alfa Power is honoured to have donated to the worthy cause of Neurocare; an excellent charity that has contributed to help patients through many of their local projects.
Neurocare is a local charity that raises money for the Neurosciences and Neurology departments to support neuroscience patients being cared for in Sheffield’s NHS hospitals.
Alfa Power is working to support Leeds Hockey Club which was founded in 1934 and has is an integral part of the community.
The club has fantastic facilities and has partnered with Leeds University and Leeds Beckett University since moving to Weetwood in Headingley.
The Leeds Hockey Club merged with University of Leeds Men’s HC and Leeds Beckett University HC, allowing them to have a number of men’s and women’s teams.
